Zagreb is the capital of Republic Croatia.
The Lower Town (Donji grad) with the central square Trg Bana Jelacica, is the commercial heart of Zagreb,
where most shops and many businesses can be found.
The Dolac marketplace, is situated north of the main square, not far from the Cathedral.
Zagreb is de hoofdstad van de republiek Kroatië. Bij het centrale plein Trg Bana Jelacica komen de meeste tramlijnen samen, en daar in de buurt zijn ook veel winkelstraten.


St. Mark's Church (St. Marcus kerk) with a colorful painted roof. Also in Gornji grad (uppertown) near the Church of St. Catherine there is a beautiful panorama on the Lower Town (Donji grad).
De gotische St. Markuskerk heeft een opvallend gekleurd dak.
Deze kerk ligt in de bovenstad (Gornji grad).
Daar is ook de St Catherinekerk te vinden.
Van daaruit heb je een mooi uitzicht op de kathedraal en de benedenstad (Donji grad).
